Statutory information: what schools must publish
The 12 statutory information items schools and academy trusts must, should or are expected to publish on their websites, with the official wording for each.

- 16 to 18 resultsMustThe most recent 16 to 18 performance measures, as published in the performance tables: progress, attainment, English and maths progress, retention and destinations. Maintained schools with a sixth form must publish them and academies should.Every year, when results are published · 1 January each year
- Contact detailsMustThe school's name, postal address and telephone number, the member of staff who handles queries, the headteacher and the SENCO. Maintained schools must publish most of these and academies should, but every mainstream school must name its SENCO.No fixed date
- Ethos and values statementShouldA statement of the school's ethos and values, for parents and others reading the website. DfE guidance says maintained schools and academies should both publish one.No fixed date
- Key stage 2 resultsMustThe most recent key stage 2 results, as published in the performance tables: expected and higher standard in reading, writing and maths, average progress and average scaled scores. Maintained schools with key stage 2 pupils must publish them and academies should.Every year, when results are published · 1 January each year
- Key stage 4 resultsShouldThe most recent key stage 4 results, as published in the performance tables: Progress 8, Attainment 8, grade 5 or above in English and maths, and EBacc entry and achievement. Maintained schools with key stage 4 pupils must publish them and academies should.Every year, when results are published · 1 January each year
- List of the trust's schoolsExpectedA list of all the schools in the academy trust, published on the trust's website with links to each. The list should match the schools recorded for the trust on GIAS.No fixed date
- Ofsted reportMustA copy of the school's most recent Ofsted report, or a link to it on the Ofsted website. Maintained schools must publish it; academies should.No fixed date
- Paper copies statementMustA statement that parents can ask for a free paper copy of anything published on the website, and that translations, Braille or audio versions are free too. Maintained schools must publish it.No fixed date
- Performance tables linkMustA link to the DfE compare school and college performance service and to the school's own performance measures page on it. Maintained schools must publish it and academies should.No fixed date
- Remote education informationShouldInformation about the school's remote education provision: what pupils are given when they cannot attend school. Schools should publish it, and should cover remote education in their safeguarding policy.No fixed date
- School opening hoursShouldThe start and end times of the compulsory school day and the total time this amounts to in a typical week, including breaks but not after-school activities. Maintained schools and academies should both publish them.No fixed date
- Term datesExpectedThe school's term dates for the current academic year, including holidays and INSET days. They are expected to be on the school website.Every academic year · 1 September, the start of the academic year
