Equality and accessibility: what schools must publish
The 6 equality and accessibility items schools and academy trusts must, should or are expected to publish on their websites, with the official wording for each.

- Accessibility plan for disabled pupilsMustA plan for improving disabled pupils' access to the curriculum, to the school's physical environment and to information. Every school must publish one and review it at least every three years.Every 3 years
- Accessibility statementMustA statement in the government's model format: how accessible the website is, which parts are not and why, how to ask for another format and how to give feedback. Every school and academy trust website must have one.No fixed date
- Equality information and objectivesMustInformation showing how the school meets the public sector equality duty, published at least once a year, and specific, measurable equality objectives published at least every four years. Every school must publish both.Every 12 months
- Named person for SEN oversightShouldThe name of the person with oversight of SEN provision, who makes sure support is co-ordinated. 16 to 19 academies should publish it. It does not apply to other schools.No fixed date
- SEN information reportMustA report on how the school supports pupils with special educational needs: the kinds of SEN provided for, how needs are identified, the SENCO's contact details and where the local offer is published. Schools must publish it and update it every year.Every 12 months
- Website accessibilityMustA website that disabled people can use. As public sector websites, school and trust sites must be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust, and should meet the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.No fixed date
