- Allergen informationShouldAllergen information for the food the school serves, normally shown with the school meal menus. It should be available to parents where the school sells food, and a whole school food policy is encouraged.No fixed date
- Attendance policyShouldThe school's attendance policy: expectations, how to report absence, the Senior Attendance Champion and who to contact, how absence is followed up and when penalty notices are used. It should be on the school's website.Every 12 months · 1 September, the start of the academic year
- Behaviour policyMustThe school's behaviour policy, including its anti-bullying strategy, how it encourages good behaviour and its disciplinary sanctions. Maintained schools must publish it and academies should.Every 12 months · 1 September, the start of the academic year
- Medical conditions policyShouldA policy for supporting pupils with medical conditions such as asthma or diabetes, covering roles, individual healthcare plans, medicines, staff training, trips and sport, and complaints. Governing bodies should make sure it is readily accessible to parents.No fixed date
- Mobile phone policyShouldThe school's policy on prohibiting mobile phones during the school day, how it is implemented and any sanctions, any sixth form arrangements, and that phones may be searched for. Schools should publish it.No fixed date
- School uniform policyShouldThe school's uniform policy, saying which items are required or optional, which need the school logo, where they can be bought and where second-hand uniform is available. Schools should publish it on their website.No fixed date
- Senior mental health leadGood practiceThe name of the senior member of staff who leads on pupils' mental health, known as the designated senior lead for mental health. Publishing this is encouraged.No fixed date
- Statement of behaviour principlesMustThe governing body's written statement of the principles behind the school's behaviour policy. It applies to maintained schools, and the headteacher must act in line with it.No fixed date
