A report on how the school supports pupils with special educational needs: the kinds of SEN provided for, how needs are identified, the SENCO's contact details and where the local offer is published. Schools must publish it and update it every year.

What the report covers
The school must publish an SEN information report: the kinds of SEN provided for, identifying and assessing pupils with SEN, the SENCO contact, support services for parents, complaints about SEN provision, the local offer, arrangements for the admission of disabled pupils, and the accessibility plan.
The register sets this section for maintained schools only.

Local offer information
The school must publish information on where the local authority's local offer is published - the council's guide to SEND support in the area - and give details of the school's contribution to the local offer.

The school-specific information should relate to the schools’ arrangements for providing a graduated response to children’s SEN. It should elaborate on the information provided at a local authority wide level in the Local Offer.

57 A local authority must— a publish its local offer by placing it on their website; b publish its arrangements for enabling— i people without access to the Internet; and ii different groups, including people with special educational needs or a disability, to obtain a copy of the offer; and c publish how those people identified in paragraph (b) can provide comments on the local offer.
4.36 The Local Offer must make clear where this information can be found and must make clear how young people and parents can find relevant information published by post-16 institutions about their SEN provision (see Chapter 7).
4.62 Local authorities must make their Local Offer widely accessible and on a website. They must publish their arrangements for enabling those without access to the internet to get the information.
