Sixth form results: what to publish on your school website
If your school has a sixth form, your website needs your latest 16 to 18 results, using the figures from the DfE's performance tables.

What maintained schools must publish online

14 The school’s 16 to 18 results, identified as such, in the information published by the Secretary of State in the School Performance Tables, under the following categories— a progress; b attainment; c English and mathematics progress; d retention; e destinations.

16 to 19 accountability measures: technical guidance (September 2026, for the 2025 to 2026 academic year)
English & maths progress measures: these measures show, for students that did not achieve a grade 4 or above in English or maths GCSE at KS4, how much grade improvement students made from their KS4 GCSE result (or from their result at a previous 16-19 institution, if higher).
Must: Required by law, statutory guidance or the academy's funding agreement.§ Headline performance measures for the 2025 to 2026 academic year (the measures the Secretary of State publishes, which Schedule 4 paragraph 14 requires schools to reproduce)
A level and other 16 to 18 results: academic year 2024/25 (official statistics)
The English and maths progress measure has returned this year following a period of absence since 2021/22 due to the impact of excluding CAG/TAG grades on this performance measure.

Do schools have to publish sixth form results?
Maintained schools must. For academies, it's recommended in official guidance, but isn't a legal requirement in itself. It only applies to schools with a sixth form.
Which 16 to 18 results do we need to publish?
Progress, or value added, measures; attainment measures; retention measures; destination measures; English and mathematics progress measure.
When do we need to update them?
By 1 January each year. Update them once the DfE publishes the year's results in the autumn.

They do not have to publish English and maths progress measures for the 2022 to 2023 or 2023 to 2024 academic years, as the Secretary of State is not publishing these.
