Clarified that childminders, with or without domestic premises, and childcare on domestic premises providers can choose to register with a childminder agency.
1 November 2024 · Register with Ofsted: childcare and the law
Updated to include reference to the new childcare provider type, 'childminders without domestic premises', following changes introduced by the Department of Education’s EYFS framework, published on 1 November 2024. We’ve also clarified that it is an offence to work from an unapproved premise.
